Premier Benefit Consultants is an independent insurance agency that specializes in health insurance for those currently with and those looking to transition onto Medicare insurance.

Sue Jorgenson specializes in Medicare insurance and is certified to represent HMSA, AARP United Healthcare, Humana, Wellcare Ohana and AlohaCare.

Medicare is complex and unless you work with it all the time, there are pitfalls you may not be aware of such as late enrollment penalties that can follow you for a lifetime. A licensed agent can guide you through the process and help you to avoid costly mistakes. Finding a local agent who is unbiased is important. Premier Benefit Consultants agents are brokers who can offer several plans and find
which works best for each individual. And we are the only agency that offers HMSA. Experience:

Sue Jorgenson is a licensed health insurance agent with Premier Benefit Consultants. We specialize in Medicare insurance for kupuna 65 years or older. Sue became licensed in the State of Hawaii in 2018. Sue was planning for her own transition into Medicare and began researching and realized it was quite a complex area. She came from a background in training and they always said if you want to really know a subject well, then teach it. So thatʻs what she does now, she educate seniors who are transitioning into retirement and Medicare.

As an agent, Sue keeps current so she can advise her clients knowledgeably. Because everyoneʻs circumstances are different, there is no plan that is best for everybody but there
is a best plan for each individual. Also, clientsʻ health needs change, Medicare changes and the private
insurance plans change from year to year. So it is critical as an agent to keep up to date with such change.

Sue became a Medicare beneficiary a couple of years ago, so she can totally
relate to the concerns and challenges of my clientele. She hosts a tv show produced by Premier Benefit Consultants and HMSA called “Cool for Kupuna.” It airs every Sunday at 5pm on KHON. Weʻve been on the
air since July of last year, and each episode features a different neighborhood where we find cool activities and places to eat. We also share safety and expert advice from the Aloha United Way, Better Business Bureau, Crimestoppers Honolulu, Honolulu Fire Department and HMSA. We believe the heart of our business is to take care of our kupuna, and through the show, we hope to keep kupuna active, healthy and safe.
