Stacey Young

Chief Operating Officer for Home and Community Based Services for the Arcadia Family Companies, Stacey Young has been in the caregiving field since 2012. While living on Maui she had the opportunity to work for a non-profit that focused on providing affordable housing and services for seniors. Seeing a community come together to support another community -the kupuna, inspired her to continue in this service field. Learning about the challenges that seniors face has motivated her to continue in the industry and to help them live their best life. Education and Experience:

As part of the Arcadia Family of Companies, they are able to utilize resources within their organization to help support their clients and family caregivers. For example, the Arcadia Home Health Services program provides in-home services such as housekeeping, home delivered meals and personal care. They have clients who not only attend day care but also use these in-home services. Providing the needed care on both the outside and inside of the home helps the kupunas to remain socially engaged and independent as much as possible and helps to avoid premature placement in a facility.
