For more than three decades, Graham Builders helps Hawaii families make the most of their island homes at every stage of life. Founded in 1990, the Honolulu design-build firm remains the only contractor in Hawaii honored by the Better Business Bureau’s Torch Award for Business Ethics. As a true design+build firm, homeowners appreciate the full, turn-key approach they provide their clients. Graham Builders has offered a free educational monthly seminar to help homeowners avoid common pitfalls of major home construction since 1996. They also offer special seminars for aging in place and multigenerational living. Graham Builders' main strength and interest is in helping Hawaii’s families build homes that will last for generations. Even back in the early 90s, Graham Builders encouraged families to have at least one “accessible” bathroom. Graham Builders now has four (4) Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) designees and two (2) Certified Green Builder Professionals (CGBP). Graham Builders has been designing and building homes for all generations before the term “multigenerational homes” or “aging in place” became common terms.

Experience:

As the Director of Client Care, Bonnie Oda manages Graham Builders' education, sales, and marketing efforts. She is also the company's first Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS), a designation administered by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).
