Summary of Services:

Movement was created to be different. Founded in 2008, amidst one of the biggest financial meltdowns in American history, Movement set forth on a mission to create a Movement of Change in our industry, in corporate cultures and in communities.

First, we pioneered a unique approach to home loans centered around helping homebuyers, quickly and easily. Then, we created a model so that our profit creates a long-term positive impact in communities both close to home and around the globe.

For our borrowers, we commit to building relationships based on communication. We get it home loans can be confusing and stressful – But they don’t have to be. And we work to make sure they aren’t.

It all comes back to our mission, to love and value people in everything we do.

Experience:

As Residential Mortgage Loan Originator I support my clients with some of the most important financial decisions of their lives, how to finance their residential real estate purchases. Whether purchasing for the first time, buying up or trading down, investing, or refinancing, I have the expertise and expansive resources of Movement Mortgage behind me. I have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and taking time to understand my clients’ short- and long-term needs in order to find the best mortgage solution. This allows me to treat each transaction as if it were my own, always keeping my clients’ best interest as my top priority. By creating lasting customer relationships with clients and business partners I have closed over 1,200 1st mortgages, a total of over $650 million in dollar volume, since 2007 and have been a Top Producer since 2013.

In October 2021 I joined Movement Mortgage as a Senior Residential Mortgage Loan Officer where I originate 1st mortgages for residential properties between 1-4 units in Hawaii and California. At a Mortgage Bank I have access to a nationwide network of support staff, loan products and capital that allows me to offer my clients the best financing solutions with competitive rates in a timely manner. We pride ourselves on our 6-7-1 loan process which highlights 6 hours for a fully underwritten loan, 7 days for processing and 1 day for closing. Marrying this with my 15 years of mortgage experience and personal touch on every file creates a comprehensive, simplified mortgage process with financing my clients are happy with for the long term.

I have been in the finance industry since joining Bank of Hawaii in 2004 where I was given the opportunity to start originating mortgages in 2007. In 2008 I received the Mortgage Division’s award for top producing rookie and in 2009 I received the Bank’s award for excellence in customer service. After a year hiatus in my hometown of Palo Alto, California, where I gained experience at a mortgage bank and wealth management company, I returned to Bank of Hawaii in 2012 as Vice President & Executive Loan Officer and achieved the Chairman’s Circle distinction for top sales from 2013-2017. In 2017 I transitioned to Vice President & Private Banking Mortgage Loan Officer for the newly formed Mortgage Sales Team at First Hawaiian Bank where I earned the annual top sales by dollar volume for Mortgage Banking from 2018 – 2021.

I graduated cum laude from Pomona College with a Bachelors in Psychology and Media Studies and played Division III volleyball. I have served as Treasurer on the School Board at Holy Nativity School since 2018 and support environmental and local farming causes as much as possible. For fun I enjoy surfing, triathlons, CrossFit, yoga, gardening, photography and traveling with family and friends. My 12-year-old daughter Georgia, currently attending La Pietra – Hawaii School for Girls, keeps me busy the rest of the time.
