Born in Honolulu Hawaii, but raised in Pearl City, Santiago’s dedication to serving the local community goes beyond the 40 hours he puts in at work. He stays engaged and proactive in his local church activities and volunteering as a coach in youth soccer programs. His masters degree in Organizational Management has geared him ready to serve the seniors in the community for the past 25 years.

The City and County of Honolulu facilitates the Senior Citizen Program, which allows the Parks and Recreation to host clubs in 32 recreation centers on the island. The Program offers a variety of fun, interactive activities ranging from exercise, education and eating! A variety of activities such as Zumba, Tai Chi, and Yoga are made accessible to adults and seniors. Classes on health and taxes are also made available. The answer to the big question on everyone’s minds is yes, there are healthy options for eating and also fun options for those who want to treat themselves or reward themselves after a good workout!
