They are expecting this year 2019 to have 1,500 walkers and aiming to raise $175,000. What makes Rebecca unique in this field is her age- It's important for people to see that Alzheimer's has an impact on multiple generations and is something all should be concerned about and supporting.
Ten years ago, one of the most important person in Rebecca's life, her grandma was diagnosed with Alzheimers. For all the years dedicated to raising her, she wanted to give back in some way and now is motivated to work in a fundraising role for the Alzheimer's Association where she is able to spread awareness about the disease, offer their support services, and raise funds dedicated to finding a cause and cure.
